A standalone terminal is enough for most salons, garages and service businesses: you enter the amount, your customer pays. If you already have a system, we can connect the terminal to it.

Salons, garages and services: common questions
Do I need a POS to accept cards?
No. A standalone terminal is enough for most salons and garages. If you already have a system, we can connect the terminal to it so amounts aren’t re-keyed.
Can I take payment away from the counter?
Yes. We also install handheld and mobile terminals, depending on how you serve your customers.
Does my salon or garage need WEB-SRM?
WEB-SRM covers restaurants and bars. Salons and garages generally aren’t subject to it. We check your situation with you before installation.
Do you offer Clover terminals?
Yes. We install and support Global Payments and Clover terminals, and help you choose for your counter and volume.
I’m under contract elsewhere. Can I switch?
Often, yes. If your processor raises a fee, the Code of Conduct for the Payment Card Industry in Canada gives you 70 calendar days to cancel without penalty, equipment agreements included. Bring us your statement and the change notice.
